Traditional Chinese Medicine is the wisdom of ancient traditions that promote holistic well-being. The roots of acupuncture as part of TCM go back thousands of years in China.
Throughout my life I have been treated by acupuncture myself and have experienced the healing effects on my own body. This sparked the fascination in me to learn this form of treatment and to be able to offer it to other people. As a trained sports teacher and active athlete, I have a great understanding of complaints of the musculoskeletal system.
Tui-Na (acupuncture massage), Moxa (warming incense herbs), acupressure (pressing the acupuncture points), cupping with glasses and the diet are all parts of a TCM treatment. I personally like to combine my treatments with my knowledge as a yoga therapist.
Acupuncture is successfully used, among other things, for:
-
Diseases of the musculoskeletal system
-
Neurological diseases and their accompanying symptoms (migraine, paralysis...)
-
Diseases of the respiratory tract, throat, nose, ears (colds, asthma, hay fever, allergies...)
-
Vegetative diseases (sleep disorders, exhaustion, blood fluctuations...)
-
Addictions and psychological illnesses (fears and compulsions...)
-
Digestive problems of all kinds
-
Gynaecological diseases and female issues (menstrual problems, menopause, pregnancy, pregnancy and child-birth but also bladder problems...)
-
Post-operative (promotes wound healing)
Each treatment is individually adapted to you, your complaints, your potential and your needs. Please feel free to contact me.
